Service Description: Facilitated by Registered Nurses with Canadian Nurses' Association (CNA) certification in Hospice Palliative Care * formal education is provided in the introductory multidisciplinary course: The Fundamentals of Hospice Palliative Care
  • advanced education for nurse practitioners, registered nurses and registered practical nurses is offered annually in the CAPCE (Comprehensive Advanced Palliative Care Education) program
  • opportunity to participate in the Level 2 Palliative Care Education course for regulated health care professionals
  • Level 2 Palliative Care Education course for support workers is currently under revision
  • in-house Palliative Care Education sessions can also be arranged on request
