Service Description: Financial assistance with essential living expenses * medical benefits such as prescription and vision care * help finding a job and career advancement

Financial assistance for dentures:

  • if the deterioration of the teeth or gums is due to medications, cancer treatment or the disability itself, the dentist completes a pre-determination form that goes directly to to ACCERTA (insurance for ODSP recipients) to see if they approve payment
  • through the ODSP employment supports program, if it is determined that not having teeth is preventing the person from volunteering or working, the case worker would send the patient a form to complete
