Service Description: Support group meetings * volunteer based organization * assists all persons facing life with gastrointestinal or urinary diversions by providing emotional support, instructional and information services through the membership, the family, associated caregivers and the general public * presentations from professionals such as an Enterostomal Therapist Nurse, a physician, pharmacist, or dietician to speak at the chapter meeting * there may also be a presentation from a representative of one of the manufacturers or suppliers of ostomy products

Home visits can be made by trained members to provide support and education * home visits are provided in the Kingston, Quinte West and Belleville areas

Meeting: Meeting are held at Loyalist College, Pioneer Building room P10 at 2pm on the second Sunday monthly Sept-June with the exception of October (1st Sunday) and May (1st Sunday)
Fees: Membership $25 annually * membership is not required for a home visit
Application: Call * no referral required
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: This service is for people with ostomies and caregivers / family of people with ostomies

Area(s) Served: Belleville and area for the support group; for home visits the area is Quinte West through Kingston and Tweed through Prince Edward County.
