Service Description: Provides support to the MS Society of Canada in finding a cure for multiple sclerosis and enabling those affected by MS to enhance their quality of life * offers members a variety of services including fund raising and advocacy, support groups, research, workshops and seminars, a newsletter, and events for clients and their families * volunteer member of the board is available to discuss particular needs of patients and whether the Chapter might consider funding a needed product or service or other assistance for the individual

Fees: To become a member of the MS Society there is a $15 annual fee.
Application: Documentation from a physician, nurse or occupational therapist outlining the patients needs is required. Also, a quote on the amount of financial assistance needed is appreciated.Waiting Period: Client Services Committee meets monthly to review requests. Once the request has been approved the client is contacted and they proceed with the request.
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: To receive financial assistance the client must provide a definite diagnosis of multiple sclerosis by a qualified physician or approved health care professional.
