Service Description:
|
Fee subsidies are available for children from infancy to 12 years of age when their parent(s)/guardian(s) are:- Employed
- Enrolled in an educational program
- Participating in an approved training or re-training program
- Experiencing a social need or supporting a child who has been identified as having special needs
Fee Subsidy is Available For:- Children from infant to five (5) years of age attending a licensed child care program enrolled in the Canada Wide Early Learning and Child Care System (CWELCC) initiative in Leeds and Grenville.
- Children who are enrolled in licensed child care, or School Board operated Extended Day Program, exclusively serving children age 6 to 12 years of age.
- Children between 4 to 12 years of age enrolled in an eligible recreation camp program.

Based on the financial eligibility as set out by the Ministry of Education and the "eligible hours" of the parent(s) * eligible hours are hours a parent is unavailable to care for the child(ren) due to participation in education or employment * fee subsidy only applies to contracted licensed child care programs within Leeds and Grenville
