Coordinates Ontario Telemedicine Services (OTN) throughout Hastings and Prince Edward Counties
Partners with several locations throughout the region providing telemedicine equipment in the following locations:- Belleville
- Trenton
- Brighton
- Picton
- Tweed
- Madoc
- Marmora
- Bancroft
Telemedicine uses video cameras and monitors to connect clients and providers to specialists or other health care professionals at a distance * reduces need for traveling out of area to receive care
Telemedicine services include, but are not limited to: - mental health
- psychiatry
- teledermatology
- cardiology
- endocrinology
- pre and post-operative assessments for surgery
- fertility consults
- respirology

Ask your health provider if your referral to a specialist or other health care provider is suitable for telemedicine * the doctor or nurse practitioner will complete a referral form and fax it to Telemedicine Services to arrange your appointment
