Service Description: Programs and supports for families with young children * some assistance with transportation and child care provided when needed * EarlyON locations are throughout the community
 
Early Learning Groups - Play group for parents and children to explore learn and play, and access resources
 
Parenting Programs - Programs and support groups for parents and families * childcare provided
  • You Make the Difference - communication program for parents and children between the ages of six months and two and a half years
  • Right from the Start - parents develop interaction skills with infants or toddlers birth to two years old * foster parent infant attachment
  • Encouraging Parents - parenting program teaching parents to foster positive behaviors in their children and techniques to deal with common behaviors
  • Bounce Back and Thrive - resiliency based parenting program
 
Prenatal and Infant Groups - Programs and supports for expectant families  and families with young children 
 
Prenatal Nutrition Program - Extra food is provided during pregnancy and may include Good Food Box, milk coupons, prenatal vitamins, and bread when available
 
School Readiness Programs - Prepares children and their families for transition into the school system * helps improve success at school parents to become involved in their child’s learning * offered at different times and locations

Fees: Medical services may be covered by OHIP * some fees for other programs
Application: Call or visit * appointments required for some programs * no referral required
