Service Description:

Early detection to reduce advancement of disease and implementation of self-management approaches
Provided by a Respiratory Educator who performs breathing tests (spirometry) * does physical assessments * monitors medication effectiveness * offers education sessions * prepares and reviews asthma or COPD action plans * consults with family physicians, nurse practitioners and specialists as needed
