Service Description: Provides compassionate support and professional care to individuals and their families as they journey through the challenges of life-limiting illnesses and end-of-life transitions * services offered a home or hospital setting by experienced staff and trained volunteers

Lending Equipment: a variety of medical equipment for a 3 month lending period at no cost * accepts donations of medical equipment in good working order * visit the website for information on the type of medical equipment accepted

Counselling Services: Individual, family and group therapy provided by a Certified Counsellor to those diagnosed with a life-limiting disease, or anyone in the community who has been bereaved

Coffee and Conversation- Bereavement Support Group: Sharing stories and feelings with people who have also experienced loss helps with the healing process * Led by trained bereavement volunteers * all are welcome on the 2nd Wednesday of each month

Caregiver Coffee: provides an opportunity for caregivers to connect with other caregivers and discuss the privileges, successes, strains, and challenges they are facing

Spiritual Care: the team offers many spiritual support services to residents and family members, inclusive to people of all faiths, cultures and beliefs

Guided Journaling Group
: individuals develop a journaling practice where they can process their thoughts and feelings * both practical and creative writing techniques to engage in a deeper conversation with oneself * taught by Amy Tibben, English teacher and End of Life Doula

Breathe, unwind, and enjoy a time of calm and peace: Zoom guided meditation series led by Peggy Vandervoort and Tina Gasser

Meditation Groups are offered:
Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday - 7pm

Day Hospice:
  • offered to an intimate group of clients with a life limiting illness
  • run by a registered nurse and hospice volunteer team
  • hosts various activities each week such as arts & crafts
  • massage and reflexology therapies
  • musicians
  • chair exercise class every other week
  • card games
  • spa days
  • a homemade lunch and transportation for those who require it
