Service Description: A Francophone organization that engages the Francophone community in all its diversity and the healthcare community to improve the active offer and the access to a continuum of quality health care services in French * Acts as a partner in the transformation of the health-care system, shapes the active offer and strategies to improve access to French-language health services * Monitors the implementation of these strategies and contributes to viable solutions to provide high-quality French-language health services

Strategic Objectives:
  • Advise the health system and direct the decision-making to provide, in French, more integrated and adapted health services to the needs of francophone communities across Eastern Ontario
  • Exploit the evidence in order to identify and profit from innovative solutions, elaborating solid arguments for the organization and the provision of health services in English in Eastern Ontario
  • Influence of the 'Réseau': informed and constructive dialogues with key players as well as the mobilization of francophone communities in the objective to improve the access to health services in French throughout Eastern Ontario
  • Reinforce the knowledge and skills of the 'Réseau' and improve the needed  resources in order to adapt, coherently act and succeed in a complexe and evolving environment

Eligibility / Target Population: Francophones in Eastern and Southeastern Ontario 18 years and older, must be a resident in the regions for at least three consecutive months before membership application
