Service Description: Independent living supports to enable people with disabilities to live independently in their homes and in the community

  • Supported Independent Living - assistance to people with an intellectual disability over the age of 18 to live independently in their own home and their community 
  • Children's Service - support to families and their child with a disability in their home * day respite
  • Transitioned Aged Youth - support to transitioning adults who are in care of the Children's Aid Society and have a developmental disability
  • life skills training
  • social, recreational and leisure activities
  • Seniors Initiative Program - support to elderly parents who are caregivers to developmentally challenged family members

Fees: Free with the exception of $33 for monthly transportation
Application: New applicants are supported to go through an intake process with Developmental Services Ontario
Eligibility / Target Population: Developmentally challenged sons or daughters living at home
