Service Description:
|
Behavioural Consulting Services assists persons over the age of two years who have a developmental disability
- focuses on the person's individual strengths and needs and utilizes the mediator model to teach new skills and work toward behaviour change
- Behavioural Consulting Services staff also provide short term consultations and/or training in behaviour support strategies to individuals or community agencies
- supports individuals in Hastings, Prince Edward, and Lennox and Addington counties
- family or individual consent is required if the family is not making the referral
- waiting time varies

Referrals are accepted from parents, agencies * physicians and schools with the consent of the individuals family being referred
