Income support and employment assistance * help in becoming self-reliant and contributing to the community
Clients may be eligible for:- drug and dental coverage
- eyeglasses
- hearing aids
- community and employment start-up benefits
- diabetic and surgical supplies
- surgical supplies and dressings
- medical transportation costs
- costs related to a special diet (as prescribed by an approved health professional)
- back-to-school allowance
- winter clothing allowance for children
- pregnancy nutritional allowance
- Learning Earning and Parenting program for young parents
Also provides temporary help to those in urgent need including pending Ontario Disabilities Support Program applicants
