Service Description: Activities to address the holistic needs of the Métis Nation at the local level
Aboriginal Community Mental Health Program - Promotes mental wellness in a holistic way * assists clients to identify mental wellness goals and develop a plan to overcome challenges related to mental health and addictions * provide public education activities * crisis management * advocacy support * referrals to emergency services / transitional housing * anger management treatment/programs
Aging at Home - Assists older people to live independently at home
Community Wellness - Holistic approaches to the promotion of healthy living and the prevention of family violence * services to reduce family violence and the promotion of healthy lifestyles through culture-based programming
Metis Healthy Babies Healthy Children - Kingston Healing and Wellness - Community cultural gatherings and events designed to increase knowledge and strengthen skills for healthy decision making * one to one parent support to help achieve optimum child development from pregnancy to age six
