Service Description: Education, programs and support to people living with arthritis

Arthritis Rehabilitation and Education Program (AREP): Community-based rehabilitation program * physiotherapists, occupational therapists and social workers available * individual consultation and group education sessions

Topics may include:
  • dealing with pain
  • arthritis medications
  • exercises to reduce stiffness, increase strength and improve fitness
  • new ways to be active and minimize stress on joints
  • coping with the emotional impact of arthritis
  • self-management strategies

  • managing chronic pain
  • navigating your healthcare
