Opportunities for patients and caregivers to socialize and help each other by sharing ideas and experiences
Services and activities for those affected by Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS):- information and referral
- educational program for health professionals
- public education
- medical equipment loans program
- support group meetings for patients and their caregivers
- guest speakers provide insight and information on various topics of interest
- accepts donations of gently used medical equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs, hospital beds, lift chairs, and hoyer lifts; pick-ups can be arranged and tax receipts are provided

Registration with the Society is normally done at the time of diagnosis * To donate medical equipment, call or send an email with the following information: equipment type (description, including manufacturer, model), approximate age of equipment (in years), first and last name, email address, and telephone number
