School programs and services for children experiencing difficulty
Each school has access to a team of specialists: psychologists * speech therapists * social workers * special education workers
Primary School programs include: early and continuous detection * educational resources * deafness and hearing loss * blindness * autism
Secondary School programs include: the EduCentre * autism * deafness * deaf-blindness and low vision

The identification, placement and review committee determines the child's needs in order to make a proper placement

Eligibility / Target Population:
|
Students in difficulty, between the ages of 4 and 21, can present one of the following four anomalies: * behavioural disorders (emotional disorder or social maladjustment) * communication problems (autism, hearing impairment, speech or language disorders and learning disabilities) * intellectual (gifted children, mild or moderate intellectual disability) * physical disabilities (physical or visual)
