Service Description: Community Support Services provided to maximize the independence and personal empowerment and community participation of people with physical disabilities * community based rehabilitation and advocacy organization for people with physical disabilities

Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program - Support group for people with a brain injury facilitated by March of Dimes Canada, this group meets to provide support, education and socialization. Specialized case managers and rehabilitation professionals work with family members, friends, other service providers and clients directly to improve daily living skills, communication, community orientation and integration, emotional and behavioral support, life skills training, vocational support, recreation opportunities and more.

Outreach Attendant Services - Outreach Attendant Care Services provide non-medical assistance with activities of daily living in the client's home. Attendants will provide physical assistance with :
  • dressing
  • bathing
  • eating 
  • range of motion 
  • grooming
  • transferring 
  • ventilator
  • tracheotomy services


Supportive Housing Program - Supportive housing provided in accessible, unfurnished, geared-to-income rental apartments with attendant service staff available on-site for non-medical assistance such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. Eligible applicant's must require personal care supports that cannot be met within a community setting.
