Service Description:
|
Provides child protection services within our community seven days a week, twenty four hours a day, to the children and families. Services include investigations of allegations of child abuse and neglect, support to families and out of home placement in approved adoptive, foster homes or group care programs. Programs and services are developed in response to the needs of the community and the child welfare mandate

If a person has reasonable grounds to suspect that a child is or may be in need of protection, the person must promptly report the suspicion and the information upon which it is based to a Children's Aid Society
