Service Description: Child development services * feeding clinic * pediatrician consultation, assessment and diagnostic services * advocacy for the provision of medical services as needed * developmental pediatrics
 
Myelodysplasia Team - Brock Street - Myelodysplasia (medical condition of the blood characterized by the ineffective production) rehabilitation * treatment plans and follow-up through childhood and adolescence to monitor medical, physical, and financial needs
 
Neuromuscular Team - Brock Street - Multidisciplinary assessment and intervention for disorders related to the nerves and muscles  * follows the child's health and therapy needs from diagnosis until his or her transition to adult services * families also receive education, emotional support and assistance in accessing financial or other community resources
 
Occupational Therapy - Brock Street - Therapy for those recuperating from physical or mental illness that encourages rehabilitation through the performance of activities required in daily life * speech language therapy may be incorporated
 
Physiotherapy - Designated Physiotherapy Clinic - Brock Street - Physiotherapy for children provided in clinic settings, in schools, and when necessary in the child's residence
 
Psychology - Brock Street - Psychology services * may be incorporated into the following services and program teams at the Centre:
 
School Based Rehabilitation Service - Brock Street - Occupational therapy, physiotherapy and speech-language pathology services provided to students of the Child Development Centre who continue to need therapy during the school year * provided at school
 
Seating Clinic - Brock Street - Prescription, assessments including ADP Authorized Assessments for seating, and fitting of seating and medical products for children * guidance in finding financial assistance to purchase the prescribed products * families are encouraged to invite the vendor of their choice to their appointment
 
Social Work - Brock Street - Social work services which may be incorporated into other children's services and programs at the Centre 
 
Speech Language Therapy - Brock Street - Evaluation and treatment of communication disorders and swallowing disorders in children * assesses both the sounds that the child uses and what the child understands, and also what words they use * may be incorporated into other services and programs at the Centre

Application: Most services require a physician's referral
Eligibility / Target Population: Children and young adults who have physical, neurological and or developmental challenges
