Service Description: Range of rehabilitation services available in the home, school, workplace and in a clinic located in the Travelodge
Assistive Devices Program Authorized Assessor - Assistive Device Program Authorized Assessor
Home Visiting Registered Dietitians - Registered Dietitians provide nutritional assessments and counselling for individuals, families, caregivers and groups * work with clients in the areas of general nutrition, therapeutic diets, disease prevention and health promotion
Physiotherapy Clinic - Community physiotherapy clinic * health professionals assess and treat conditions that affect the muscles, nerves, and bones that may be caused by work or sports or motor vehicle collision injuries, chronic conditions, or to recover after an operation (hip and knee surgery)
Social Work - Assists clients in coping with illness * life adjustments * marital/family dynamics or long term planning * counselling is available in the community setting or at a clinic space located in the Travelodge
Speech Language Pathology - Assessments, counselling and treatment available in various settings including school as well as through a clinic located at the Travelodge * works with clients in the areas of speech, voice, expressive and receptive language, fluency (such as stuttering), swallowing difficulties, augmentative and alternative communication
Visiting Occupational Therapy - Visiting occupational therapy services to enable clients to safely participate in daily activities of self-care, work and leisure * services may include home safety assessments, mobility prescriptions trough the Assistive Devices Program and worksite ergonomic assessments * the children's program assists children in the school and clinic setting with special needs
